freeridecamp ski Salzburger Land

First in Powder

Our freeridecamps in the Salzburger Land offer you nice, exposed downhills and the teaching of the latest freeride technique.
Rookies learn the basics and make their first turns in the powder, intermediates improve their abilities in the backcountry, experts dare to ski through steep runways and seek the challenge of a drop over little rock prominences. We focus on offpiste downhills - short trackings depending on the conditions may be necessary to get to the most beautiful powder hillsides.

Level of skills
You ski parallel and you go down easily every piste with middle decline (red). We have the suitable group for freeride rookies as well as for "profis".

Equipment
You need your complete skiing equipment as well as a freeride backpack on which you can mount your skis.
Security is our most important criteria: avalanche rescue set (consisting of an avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel) are an absolutly must for all people, who want to go skiing offpiste. We coach the handling during the freeridecamp.
It is mandatory to wear a helmet.
Our freeridecamps are focused on offpiste downhill, so we do not employ climbing aids/ski skins.
Our pielenz sports shop is looking forward to advise you in questions of equipment - here you can also rent avalanche security equipment and special freeride skis. Please contact us.

Booking and camp schedule
After your booking you get an e-mail with your booking confirmation and your bill.
The first day mentioned is the day of your arrival.
The preliminary talk, during which the whole camp schedule will be presented, takes place on the evening of the arrival day.
We build groups of different skills levels, according to the quantity of members.
Besides the coaching of the latest freeride technique and the guidance in the alpine area, the teaching of security aspects is a main point in our camps.
On at least one evening we analyse your freeride technique videotaped/on photo.

We are looking forward to meeting you!
